Scheduled from Sunday, March 16, to Tuesday, March 18, 2025, in Düsseldorf, this premier international trade fair offers a unique opportunity to delve into the rich tapestry of Czech viticulture.

Attendees can visit the Czech pavilion in Hall 9 at Booth H89, a space thoughtfully designed by CHYBIK + KRISTOF ASSOCIATED ARCHITECTS, where circles and round shapes symbolize the essence of winemaking.

A Diverse Showcase of Czech Wineries

At the Czech National Wine Center’s booth, ten distinct wineries will present nearly 60 wine samples, each personally introduced by the winemakers. Additionally, over 100 more samples will be available in a complimentary tasting area. These wineries represent a broad spectrum of proactive and export-oriented enterprises, ranging from small boutique establishments to some of the Czech Republic’s largest producers.

Theme: “Czech Wines of the Future”

This year’s theme, “Czech Wines of the Future,” reflects the immense potential of the region. It highlights a new generation of winemakers, the discovery of cool-climate vineyards, and a deep respect for environmental sustainability. Czech viticulture is actively addressing contemporary challenges, with the new generation taking responsibility for the future. Emphasizing soil health and balance is paramount. Situated in the heart of Europe, Czech wines are poised to strengthen their position in the global market, catering to consumers worldwide who seek new taste experiences and terroirs.

The Distinctiveness of Czech Wines

Moravian and Bohemian white wines are renowned for their fascinating aromatic spectrum, rich extracts, and harmonious combination of full-bodied aromas with fresh, lively acidity. In recent years, Czech red wines have gained popularity due to their full-bodied, expressive, yet soft and velvety character with a pleasant fruity aroma.
